MEET THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Co-Founder & CEO
Alex Shohet
Alex Shohet is a visionary social entrepreneur and technologist who has dedicated over two decades to transforming mental health and addiction treatment through innovation, compassion, and impact-driven ventures. With a unique ability to bridge healthcare, technology, and finance, Shohet has built multiple groundbreaking programs that serve individuals with substance use and mental health conditions, often where traditional systems fall short. After launching and exiting two successful tech companies in the entertainment industry, Shohet pivoted toward social impact, founding a series of pioneering behavioral health organizations, including ONE80 Center™, Wonderland Center™, and the Evergreen Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. His ventures were among the first to apply sustainable business models to behavioral healthcare, blending clinical excellence with entrepreneurship to support long-term recovery. Shohet’s work has included partnerships with leaders in the recovery and housing sectors—such as Aileen Getty, Beit T’Shuvah, StepUp on Second, and Chandler Living—and research collaborations with the UCLA Anderson School of Management to explore how technology can drive peer mentorship and job creation in recovery communities. Currently, he is developing an AI-powered virtual rehabilitation platform that utilizes cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to deliver contingency management and wearable-integrated care. This initiative aims to expand access, reduce costs, and improve outcomes, particularly for underserved or digitally native populations. In addition, Shohet is spearheading a real estate project that reimagines addiction and mental health care through purpose-built coliving, coworking, and wellness spaces that foster community, accountability, and healing. From Los Angeles to the frontiers of Web3, Shohet continues to champion human-centered design and scalable social entrepreneurship as the most powerful tools for change in behavioral health today.
