COINBASE'S BASE MATE AKA ROCKY
Congratulations to Matthew Meakin for building BASE MATE, Coinbase's Official Event Concierge Agent
Matthew Meakin is a core collaborator of the Evergreen Fund and a key architect behind the development and real-world adoption of Rocky, the AI concierge designed to support recovery, wellness, and community engagement. Working closely with Evergreen’s leadership, Meakin helped translate the Fund’s vision—empowerment, harm reduction, and user-owned data—into a practical, scalable product. His work was instrumental in Rocky’s evolution and subsequent adoption by Coinbase’s BASE ecosystem, where it became Base Mate, demonstrating how AI agents can be deployed responsibly within Web3 to support people at moments of vulnerability while preserving autonomy, privacy, and dignity.

Overdose LA
Overdose LA is a harm reduction organization created to help raise awareness, educate, and save lives through the distribution of NARCAN/Naloxone.
NARCAN is a potentially lifesaving medication designed to help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose in minutes. Since most opioid overdoses occur in the home and are most often witnessed, having a NARCAN rescue kit nearby can make all the difference.

In addition to education about Harm Reduction, community outreach, and NARCAN distribution, Overdose LA also distributes fentanyl test strips. Fentanyl test strips (FTS) are a form of drug testing technology which have been shown to be effective at detecting the presence of fentanyl in drug samples prior to use.

US SafeGuards
U.S. Safeguards is a pioneering training and certification program for companions who help those in recovery.
This program was originally designed for professional caregivers and taught in a classroom setting.
Our eLearning with robust AI powered online tools allows anyone willing to be a companion to help save lives. College roommates, family members, friends, neighbors, faith community members, teachers, coaches, almost anyone can learn how to provide the kind of support a person needs to fully recover.
